Eh….
…..
Oz stood there trying to figure out if Gil was teasing or not.
“that’s fine Gil…. i was just about to go and get something anyway” Oz smirks and starts to walk towards the closet
Gil curiously looked in Oz’s direction,”Getting what exactly?” highly suspicious of what his master was to start.
“oh just…… something” oz walked over to the closet and opened the door gently. “something nice, warm, cuddly and cute”
Gil couldn’t think of anything that fit that description except for Oz. Oh, and dogs. He suspiciously looked to Oz. Gil was going to say he was just kidding, but he was too curious as to what Oz was going to get.
Oz was about to open the door fully but gave up. he didn’t want to make Gil mad at him for letting cats roam around. Oz sighed and turned back to Gil.
“Never mind Gil……..”

There was a rush of cold air all through out the Reinsworth House. and Oz was terribly bored. He was sitting on one of the chairs near an ongoing fire, hoping to warm up a bit. Gilbert was in the chair on the other side of the room, Reading. It had been Snowing all day, So Oz was told to stay inside. but he couldn’t take it anymore. Oz wanted to go outside and play in the snow. he knew that thought was childish but he had been gone for 10 years.
Oz slowly looked over at Gilbert.
“Hey Gil. i have a request”
“A request?” Gilbert turned his gaze to Oz, closing his book,”Whatever you need, Oz.” He straightened a bit, waiting for the order from his…friend.
“yes i request” Oz grinned.
“Gil……i want to go outside and play in the snow” He kept his gaze firmly on his Friend. He knew right away Gil would say no but Oz wanted to ask anyway.
Gilbert sighed and looked to his book,”But Oz…Don’t you think it’s nice to just stay inside and keep warm…read a book…or something?” He didn’t like to turn down Oz’s requests, but it was freezing! He didn’t want himself or Oz turning into popsicles. But…It has been a while since Oz had seen snow…
“Well…Maybe for a little…” He mumbled.
“really!? yay~! Come on Gil let’s go!”
Oz knew Gil didn’t want to go outside into the cold. but it would be a fun experience for the two of them. Since they haven’t done much recently besides try and find Alice’s memories. he thought that the two of them should have some fun at least.
Oz got up from his Chair and bounced his way across the room, looking back every once in a while to see if Gil was following.
“Come on Gilbert, you’re so slow” Oz teased
Gilbert stretched,”You know,Oz, I changed my mind…I’d much rather stay in this nice comfy chair.” he teased a bit, before sinking back into his chair.

Yeah…
[And some bad…But he wouldn’t mention those, not right now. Actually, he didn’t mention it at all. For it is a sensitive subject, and there is no need to mention.]
Though…that memory…
Is more frightening to me…
[But the fright would always be worth it with the way Oz comforted him. Afterwards Gil wouldn’t care. Because he had Oz, no matter what a sadistic kid he was.]
Oh Gil, you will never get over your fear of cats like that.
(oz sat there and listened to the sound of their breathing. it was comforting, just knowing the Gilbert was there and alive next to him. he never thought that he would come back and see Gil again, but he did. it was a miracle, no something much more then that.)
Hey Gil! do you think we could go outside and walk around?
Outside?
Well if you would like…Then sure…
[He smiled, a nice walk with Oz seemed nice…It’s been a while since he has been able to be with Oz like this. He was almost to the point of excitement]
Well…Let me go get you a coat…It is a bit chilly…
Yay~!
i was thinking we could walk through the garden. i’ve been wanting to visit the garden for a while now.
(Oz got a little embarrassed. thinking about asking Gil to walk with him sounded like a good idea in his head. but now he sounds kind of stupid saying it out loud. Oz Hoped Gil wouldn’t might about his girly idea. But Oz was just happy that Gil agreed to go with him)
[Walking back to Oz he placed the coat upon Oz’s shoulders]
The garden?
…Sounds good to me…
[He couldn’t help but get a little flustered. Why did he find it kind of…romantic? Oz just wants to take a nice calm walk, and wants some company. Of course he’d go to Gil right? It isn’t anything special…]
[He opened the door for Oz]
Shall we head out then?
Great! Let’s go Gil!
(the sound of excitment could be heard in Oz’s voice. He looked over at gil, who looked a little flustered. Oz laughed and walks out the door)

Come on Gil! let’s get going! (starts running around outside)
thank you Gil
oh i remember. you were so small then Gil.
i also remember one day Ada and I played a trick on you. we put those cats in your bedroom for fun. You came running to me, saying that i put cats in your room. -oz laughs at the thought of the memory-
we had some good memories of back when we were kids, didn’t we?
Yeah…

Hello I’m Oz
i have come here looking for some people
YOU CAN’T HIDE FROM ME FOREVER!!
…I-I-I’m here!! I’m sorry if I kept you waiting Oz!
[He rushed over to his master as quick as he could]
T-That is…if you were looking for me…
[Ah…there he went assuming again. Though he wanted to be the one to fulfill Oz’s every need. And usually he was, so, it was only natural to assume]
There you are Gil!!
-looks up and smiles at his servant as the sunlight comes into the room-
i’ve been looking everywhere for you! Where were you?!
-Oz knew Gil was like this, trying help oz in every way possible. even though Oz himself sometimes leaned on Gil a bit too much. he tried not to, but it just sort of happened that way. but they were both happy and that’s all that mattered-
Ah…uhm…smok-
[No, he couldn’t tell Oz he had just gone and broke his promise to not smoke for a whole week. But god, he needed one, he couldn’t help it. Well if he just didn’t breathe out through his mouth…or anything…not while Oz was here. He couldn’t tell him he’d broken a promise, even if it was a tiny one]
Uhm…Making…Doing…Reading! I was…in the library reading, Oz.
Did you need something? Or…?
Oh you were reading? alright Gil.
(Oz smelled the air and noticed there was some smoke. it was coming from Gil. he probably went outside to smoke a cigarette but didn’t want to tell oz that he did. Oz felt a little tug in his heart. he was a little disappointed that Gil didn’t quit smoking for good, but he was getting somewhere right?)
Well i was wondering where you were Gil. you were gone for a very long time.
That must have been some good book you were reading
Y-Yes…It was…
[He couldn’t stand to lie any longer. Ah he was going to get in trouble once he confessed]
…Well…Actually…I wasn’t…I was…s-s-s-smoking…A-AND READING!!
B-Both so I didn’t exactly lie right? But…I…
[He really was terrible with keeping minor things like this away from Oz. But it was best to say anyway…Oz would have found out eventually.]
I’m sorry Oz…I just…Had to…And you know that place you considered a high place to hide my cigarettes? …Yeah you do remember I’m taller than you, right?
[He couldn’t help but chuckle as he remembered where he found them. Oz really was no good at hiding things was he? Or maybe it was just obvious to himself.]
(Oz could see the the look in Gil’s eyes. he was disappointed in himself, because he was doing this for Oz’s sake. but Oz understood him like a book)
Gil…. you know it’s fine if you smoke once in a while. sure i want you to stop smoking for good but….
Just Take it step by step
you won’t be able to do it all at once.
……
Wait…. ARE YOU SAYING I’M SHORT!
I tried hiding them in a good spot
i know it wasn’t the highest place ever but i thought they were hidden really well
Well…It was a good effort…
And you’ll grow in time Oz, remember how small I was when I was…around your age…?
thank you Gil
